Recommend a client to us - Claim a credit note

My name is Lee Manning and I am in charge of marketing at Raffingers Stuart.  It occurred to me recently that the overwhelming majority of our new business comes from recommendations from our clients, contacts and friends - people like you, in fact. 

We know that you refer potential clients to us because you believe we can help them and have seen from your own experience that we provide an excellent service at a reasonable price - which of course we appreciate and thank you for.

We also know however that we can not take your goodwill for granted, particularly in these challenging times.  That is why we have recently published a series of promises to you - our guarantee that you will receive world class client service - read them here.

But I have managed to persuade my partners that quite simply that does not go far enough - that whilst we know that you don't refer your contacts to us with personal gain in mind, it would be nice if we could give you something as a small gesture of appreciation that you thought of us.

That is why I am today announcing a new policy which will have immediate effect - when you recommend a client to us from today's date (20 March 2009) and that referral turns into new business for us, we will send you a credit note for £250 as a special thank you.  You can use that credit note any way you want - perhaps you could:
